The Center for Sacred Soul Tending....

What Is Soul Tending?

Soul tending is the practice of paying deep attention to the inner landscape of our lives.

It is a devotion to caring for the psyche — to listening inwardly with curiosity, openness, and compassion. Soul tending invites us into introspection and radical self-acceptance. It asks us to meet ourselves without judgment, and to become intimate with the truth of our own experience.

In a culture that often asks us to move quickly, perform, and push our feelings aside, soul tending is a gentle but courageous act of slowing down and listening deeply.

It is how we remember who we are.

Why Is Soul Tending Sacred?

Soul tending is sacred because it connects us with the deepest layers of our humanity.

It is where we meet ourselves without pretense.
Where we encounter our vulnerability, our grief, our longing, and our love.

This work is not always easy. It asks us to sit with what is real. But in doing so, something extraordinary happens. When we allow ourselves to be present with our inner world, profound healing becomes possible.

Through this sacred attention, we reconnect with our inner origins — the place within us that holds wisdom, truth, and belonging.

Why This Work Matters Now

We are living in a time of profound upheaval and transformation. What grief ritualist Francis Weller calls “the long dark.”

Collectively, we have entered an initiatory passage — one that is bringing humanity face to face with its shadow. A glance at the headlines reveals the depth of what is surfacing in our world.

Our natural response is sorrow. Grief. Concern for the Earth and for one another.

But grief needs somewhere to go.

It needs space to move, to be witnessed, and to be honored.

Without that space, grief can harden into despair or numbness. When it is welcomed and shared, it becomes a powerful force for healing and renewal.

A Place to Gather, Grieve, and Heal

The Center for Sacred Soul Tending exists to offer that space.

Here we gather in community to tend what is most alive and most tender within us. Together we:

  • Participate in grief circles where stories can be shared and witnessed

  • Engage in rituals that help grief move and transform

  • Meditate and reflect to reconnect with inner wisdom

  • Hold space for the Earth and for one another

  • Cultivate open-hearted connection, warmth, and even moments of levity

In this space, no one has to carry their grief alone.

An Invitation

This center is an invitation.

An invitation to slow down.
To listen inwardly.
To bring your whole self into a circle of care.

Together we tend what truly matters — our humanity, our connection to one another, and our relationship with the living Earth.

When we do this work together, we become more grounded, more compassionate, and more capable of showing up in the world in ways that support healing and awakening for the whole human family.

If this speaks to your heart, we welcome you.
